State of Siege is a 2021 Indian fictional movie based on true events.

Movie starts with Hanut Singh who is leading a mission in Jammu and Kashmir, and it is the failure of this mission that gives him a purpose to prove himself and explains why he never shoots on point. Another commando (Gautam Rode), is a happily married man awaiting the birth of his first child. But he is torn between his duty for the nation and looking after his wife who is in the hospital. Movie shows a temple Krishna Dham in which some people are held hostage by the terrorists. The movie is retelling of the attack on Akshardham Temple in Gujarat in 2002.
