After stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), an alternate version of Loki is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline. They give Loki a choice: face being erased from existence due to being a “time-variant”, or help fix the timeline and stop a greater threat. Loki first tries to escape from TVA but soon realize that he is nothing there as Infinity Stones are being used as paper weight in TVA. Episode Name : The Variant

Episode 2 of Loki starts in 1985 Wisconsin where the evil variant is hiding herself. As TVA team approaches they search for the variant energy using their device and found that the variant is hiding in a tent. As they enters the tent, the team leader get possessed by the evil Loki. The team leader, after this kills her own team members and then fall unconsciously. Variant opens a time portal using their devices and take away the team leader with her. TVA members then came to 1985 with Loki who tries to distract them but they don't pay attention to him and reset this event. After returning to TVA, Mobius tolds Loki to read all the files related to the Variant where he found out that TVA cannot detect anyone who is hiding in the apocalyptic events as timeline will not be disturbed whatever anyone do there. Episode 2 ends with Sylvie (Lady Loki) entering in a time door. Episode 3 shows that Lady loki show some illusion to Hunter C-20 and finds the location of the Time Keepers. After this, what happens is shown in the ending scenes of episode 2. Using the timedoor, she enters in the TVA and and tries to find the Time keepers. Loki was also following Sylvie and a fight occurs between them. In the meanwhile, Revonna came and Loki and Sylvie flew away to Lamentis-1 using Timepad. Lametis was going through one of the most apocalyptic event. Sylvie and Loki now have to find a way to escape from this dangerous moon (Yeah, Lamentis is a moon of a planet) to save themselves but the time pad was discharged. Episode 4 starts from Asgard showing childhood days of Sylvie who is playing with some toys. Suddenly, TVA memebers came and arrested her telling that she is a variant. While she was presented in the court of TVA, she flew by taking away the timepad of Revonna. Interestingly, at this time Revonna is not a judge but a hunter. Scene shifts to Lamentis where Loki and Sylvie are ready to accept their death. But a strange thing happens at TVA. A new timeline is created that was nearly perpendicular and it shocked TVA members. Show starts with the scene that we saw in post credit of episode 4 of Loki. Loki finds himself in an unknown place and learns from four time variants of himself – Alligator Loki, Boastful Loki, Classic Loki, and Kid Loki – that the place is Void and a massive cloud-like creature, Alioth, hunts and kills any life in the Void, hence there is a constant need for them to escape Alioth. Here in TVA, Time Variance Authority (TVA) Judge Ravonna Renslayer tells Sylvie that she does not know who created the TVA. Renslayer also reveals that Loki was teleported to the Void, a dimension at the end of Time where everything the TVA prunes is dumped into, from which nothing has returned. This is the final episode of the season 1 of Loki. Loki and Sylvie enters the castle that at the end of the sacred timeline. There they met Miss Minute who offers both them to live their life as they wanted but they rejected the offer and walk forward. There they met 'One Who Remains', the creator of TVA. He tells them that he is responsible for all the actions they have performed till now. He shows them a file in which he had written about what Loki and Sylvie would say and do.
